In not more than a week since it was released, Apple Music has already removed Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign's "Vultures" from its platform.

The removal came on the heels of the Rolling Loud California announcement that Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign will be headlining their own day on a newly added date.

Kanye West, Ty Dolla Sign Rolling Loud California

Performing under the pseudonym, ¥$, rap fans are surprised to learn that Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign are added to perform at the 2024 Rolling Loud California on Mar. 14, 2024.

According to Rolling Loud organizers, it would be more of "a half day" performance rather than a full day compared to the first three days headlined by Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Future, and Metro Boomin'.

West has teased the upcoming festival appearance on Instagram, saying "Vultures Coming to Rolling Loud," prompting the festival to follow with their announcement.

YG and Tyga, Sexyy Red, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Tecca, Rae Sremmurd, Luh Tyler, Lil Gnar, Lay Bankz, and JELEEL will be on the first-day lineup with Nicki Minaj closing the show in a primetime performance.

On Saturday, Big Sean, Summer Walker, Larry June, and Bones will be performing. Flo Milli, Kaliii, Veeze, BigXThaPlug, Xavier Wulf, Bluebucksclan, and Pi'erre Bourne will also be present with Post Malone closing the second night as the main headliner.

Future and Metro Boomin' were tapped to replace a complaining Lil Uzi Vert after he revealed that he was not informed that he would be headlining the said festival in the first place.

Apple Music Removes, Adds 'Vultures' Again

On Feb. 15, 2024, for a brief moment, Apple Music removed "Vultures" from its music streaming platform.

Billboard reported that the album distribution company FUGA was planning to take the album off streaming.

"Late last year, FUGA was presented with the opportunity to release Vultures 1," a FUGA spokesperson told Billboard. "Exercising our judgment in the ordinary course of business, we declined to do so."

However, the album was delivered to the platform's automated process, violating their service agreement. Because of this, the course of action was to remove the said album from the said platforms.

As of this writing, "Vultures" has returned to Apple Music, but it was still unsure why the record was wiped initially and returned again.
