Jennifer Lopez proudly admits that she is the possessive and jealous type-especially when her husband Ben Affleck is around.

During the "On the Floor" singer's appearance on "Today With Hoda & Jenna," she was asked to play a game called "This Is Me.... Now, or Then?," a nod to her newly released album "This is Me... Now," and her 2002 album "This is Me... Then."

When asked whether she "gets jealous if someone hits on [her] significant other" while she is standing right there, Lopez responded with "NOW."

"Don't play with me. Do not play with me," the singer slash actress said before explaining her answer, "First of all, I'm a lover, not a fighter, but I will let them know in a very elegant and lady-like way to step all the way off."

This is not the first time people have heard about Lopez's jealous and possessive tendencies.

Several reports claim she is "jealous" of the "Gone Girl" star's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

Jennifer Lopez 'Jealous' of Ben Affleck's Ex Jennifer Garner?

A source revealed last year that Lopez felt a bit envious of Affleck's "deep connection" with the "13 Going 30" actress.

"The jealousy J.Lo feels over their deep connection is intense," the source said.

"She believes Ben lied to her about his friendship with Jen - their bond is stronger today than when they were married - and she let Jen know she doesn't appreciate how much of her husband's time Jen has been taking up. They're currently in a big fight over Ben."

As per OK Magazine, Lopez allegedly canceled planned get-togethers as a blended family.

"J.Lo rages when she gets jealous or feels threatened, and Ben has been on the receiving end of her wrath," the source added.

Affleck and Garner share three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel; while they have since separated, the former couple co-parent their kids.
