If you have been online in the past few months, you would have known Mac Coronel or Taylor Sheesh. He is the Filipino drag queen/impersonator of Grammy-winning icon Taylor Swift.

Sheesh was the answer to Filipino Swifties who have been hounding Swift to go to the Philippines after she infamously skipped the country where she has a huge following.

Since then, Sheesh has gone viral and has even been acknowledged in the United States and other parts of the world. She has also performed on independent shows before The Eras tour in Australia.

However, despite the huge fanfare backing her up, Swift has yet to acknowledge her.

Does Taylor Swift Hate Taylor Sheesh?

Ever since Taylor Sheesh's name exploded on social media and videos of her lipsyncing to Swift's "The Eras" tour performances went viral, fans have been clamoring for Swift to acknowledge her or even give her the "22" hat when she attends one of her shows, specifically in Singapore, where she publicly announced she would be attending.

Sheesh attended two stops in Australia and the second and third nights in Singapore. But Swift's team hadn't reached out to Sheesh, leaving Swifties and netizens enraged.

Many believed that Taylor Swift must have hated what Taylor Sheesh was doing because she was profiting from impersonating her and her performances. However, many noted that Taylor Swift should at least acknowledge or thank her for the countless people Sheesh has since touched that she hasn't because she decided to sign an exclusivity deal in Singapore.

Swift has since been slammed for signing and is now prohibited from bringing her "The Eras" tour to other Southeast Asian countries.

Swifties React To Taylor Sheesh '22' Hat Snub

In every city where Taylor Swift goes, she gives out the hat she's wearing during the "22" performance to a lucky fan selected by her team. Kobe Bryant's daughter Bianka Bryant received it in the past, along with fellow Filipino Mikael Arellano, who popularized the "Bejeweled" dance craze on TikTok.

Many believe that Taylor Sheesh deserves one, being a Swiftie since 2009 and greatly impacting Swifties worldwide. Sadly, after attending four shows, Sheesh was never recognized by Swift.

"im sorry but taylor sheesh still being unrecognized by taylor up to this day just unfolds more reasons for me to raise my brows at her. theres no way you still dont know about her and if its about "benefiting" from impersonating you, i can vouch it's nothing compared to $ u make," a Netizen wrote.

"to be clear: no one is saying Taylor owes anyone anything!! I think it's just very disappointing that someone with Taylor Sheesh's immense impact wasn't acknowledged, after we've seen that people who make content about Taylor can/will be acknowledged," another said.
