Sharon Osbourne, who admitted to using Ozempic to lose weight, sparked concerns due to her current gaunt appearance.
The use of the type 2 diabetes drug for adults has been a trend in Hollywood, with celebrities using the medication to lose weight. Sharon, one of the stars who opened up about using it, recently made her fans concerned about her health due to her thinner build.
Sharon Osbourne's Gaunt Appearance Leaves Fans Concerned
Sharon previously revealed she shed 42 pounds after taking the medicine, but she had to give it up when she noticed she became skinnier starting in December 2023.
On Monday, ITV's "Celebrity Big Brother" welcomed Sharon on board with other celebrities and personalities. However, viewers felt more anxious than excited because Sharon's face looked different from how they remembered her.
One wrote on X, "Wow! Sharon Osbourne looking painfully thin! Quite shocking and concerning really."
"Nobody close to Sharon wanted her to have the jab, but she went on to do so anyway. She looks so gaunt now, so thin and at her age that isn't going to make her look great," another said.
"Sharon osbourne? You should've put that ozempic down," a third added.
According to the Daily Mail, the show's bosses reportedly asked her to wear only long sleeves while appearing on the show to prevent the cameras from capturing her "Super skinny arms."
Ozzy Osbourne Does Not Want Sharon Osbourne's Current Weight
In November, Sharon told the same media outlet that she was struggling to regain some of the weight she lost. After losing more weight than she expected, she warned her fans and followers to "be careful what you wish for."
On the other hand, her husband reportedly did not like her drastic weight loss as he thought something might happen to her.
"I thought, 'I've tried everything, so I thought I might as well try it,'" Sharon told "Good Morning Britain." "I could do with putting on a few pounds. But at this point, the way my body is, it's not listening."
Aside from losing weight, Ozempic brought different side effects to Sharon, including nausea, feeling thirsty and lack of appetite.
