Drake hit back at Rick Ross after the latter released a diss track.

On Saturday (April 13), Drake's track "Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50)" went viral after it was leaked prior to its supposed release date. In the rap, he targeted Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin and Ross.

Ross then released his own diss track, "Champagne Moments," to respond to Drake and accused him of undergoing plastic surgery, but the exchange did not stop there.

Drake Issues a Warning to Rick Ross

Drake posted an iMessage screenshot on his Instagram Stories on Sunday (April 14), showing his conversation with his concerned mom.

"I can't believe you would get one without me, cuz you know I always wanted one," Drake's mom texted him, referring to Ross' claims about his nose job.

The 37-year-old "Rich Baby Daddy" rapper replied to his mother, writing, "I would have got us a 2 for 1 deal if I went ma."

Drake added, "It's coming from Rick Ross the guy I did songs with he's gone loopy off the [weight loss drug] Mounjaro he hasn't eaten in days and it's turned him angry and racist he's performing at proms for money it's bad. Don't worry we'll handle it."

He made sure Ross would see it by tagging him and calling him "one nosey goof."

Where Did the Beef Start?

The feud started when Kendrick Lamar delivered a verse in Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That" in which he dragged Drake and J. Cole. The latter musician dropped "7 Minute Drill" as a response, but J. Cole said at the Dreamville festival that he regretted it.

Meanwhile, a Reddit post (via XXL Magazine) assumed that Ross' lyrics about unfollowing Drake on social media were about the cease-and-desist letter to French Montana.

"You ain't never wanted to be a n---- anyway, n----. That's why you had an operation that make your nose looks smaller than your father nose, n----. I unfollowed you, n----, 'cause you sent a m----------' cease-and-desist to French Montana, n----," Ross rapped.

Drake reportedly sent a cease and desist to Montana over the "Splash Brothers" verse. The track was supposed to be released on Montana's previous album featuring Drake instead of Tunechi.
