Katy Perry keeps her biggest secrets in the tiniest places.

The "Teenage Dream" star attended the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony with partner Orlando Bloom on April 13 in Los Angeles. As they walked the red carpet, Perry teased her highly-anticipated sixth studio album by holding a secretive scroll in her miniature glass purse.

The note, which read "KP6: TOP SECRET," went untouched inside the bag. It seems to tease that an announcement regarding Perry's long-awaited new album is forthcoming.

Perry used a similar tactic in 2017, while teasing her fourth studio album, Witness. The American Idol judge held up a large envelope that had "Top Secret: KP4" written on it, hiding her face as she left a recording studio. She officially announced the new album almost a month to the day after she had teased it.

She seems to be recreating the promotional method, signaling an announcement for the new project could be made any time within the next month.

Perry was styled by Tatiana Waterford for the awards ceremony, who she has frequently worked with for buzzy fashion appearances leading up to her new work. Fans praised the look, generating further excitement for her upcoming record.

"So So Ready Let's Go Katy back to save the music industry and give the world the music they need," one fan wrote.

Another praised Perry's recent looks, commenting: "Katy, you have always been so beautiful, but your outfits lately have been fire. You look so good!"

Perry's most recent album, Smile, was released in 2020. It featured singles like "Daisies," "Never Really Over," and "Harleys In Hawaii."

She began teasing her new project during her acclaimed Las Vegas residency. While performing the title track off of Smile, Billboard reports that Perry told the audience: "If you couldn't love me in my Witness and Smile eras, then you can't love me in my KP6 era."

As the residency concluded after two years in December, the "Roar" singer confirmed that new music would be released in 2024 when "See Ya Next Year!" was displayed on the screen as the performance ended.

While speaking with Good Morning America about her next musical era, she insinuated that the birth of her daughter has inspired her to write and produce music from "a place of love."

"I think that I'm writing a lot and have written a lot from a place of love, because I'm feeling so much of it - so much unconditional love, that love you never knew existed," the "California Gurls" artist shared.

Prior to the purse, the most recent update on KP6 came when Perry commemorated the death of her manager, Martin Kirkup, in February. She revealed that during their final meeting before his passing, she played him the music that is set to be released soon.

"Three days before he passed, he finally got to hear some of what I have been working on and the joy and love that it holds. I could tell he was excited for the future, and I was so glad I had that last moment to make him proud in my own little way," she shared.

While presenting at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Perry made a splash when she walked the carpet in a black mesh dress, loosely tied together by red ribbon. She titled her Instagram post for the look "KNTY PERRY HAS ARRIVED," and called the new album "KPSex," instead of "Six."

Perry can be seen as a judge on American Idol, currently airing her final season on Fox.
