Taylor Swift Delivers Stinging Kim Kardashian 'Punches' on 'The Tortured Poets Department': 'The Ultimate F You'

Taylor Swift once again stirred up her ongoing conflict with Kim Kardashian by making pointed references in her latest song.

The highly anticipated album, The Tortured Poets Department, showcases the artist's raw emotions and introspective lyrics.

Among the tracks stands out for its direct jabs at the reality TV star.

Takes Aim at Kim Kardashian

Swift sings in "thanK you aIMee," "There's a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it / That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school."

"All that time you were throwin' punches, I was buildin' somethin' / And I can't forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed 'Fuck you, Aimee' to the night sky, as the blood was gushin' / But I can't forget the way you made me heal."

In a previous discussion, the 14-time Grammy winner shared her experience of the conflict with Kardashian and described how it significantly impacted her mental well-being.

Additionally, in the same song, Swift subtly addresses Kardashian's daughter, North West.

"And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues / And one day, your kid comes home singin' a song that only us two is gonna know is about you."

As soon as Swifties heard the song "thanK you aIMee", many flocked to X, formerly Twitter.

"Kim you're dust when reputation tv releases," one X user wrote.

Another wrote, "OH KIM GET UP, let me calm down I forgot Kris Jenner works harder than the devil himself."

Kardashian vs. Swift Feud Revisited

A conflict arose between Kardashian and Swift when the reality star intervened to support her former husband, Kanye West, who had written explicit lyrics about Swift in his 2016 track "Famous." The rapper's provocative lines in the song insinuated a controversial relationship with Taylor and claimed credit for her success, sparking a heated feud.

At odds over the track, Swift and West found themselves in conflicting positions. West insisted he had held a lengthy discussion with Swift regarding the lyrics, in which she supposedly approved.

Kardashian supported her then-husband by revealing a video recording of West's conversation with Swift. In the clip, he seemed to seek the "Fortnight" singer consent to include the lyrics.

"I know, it's like a compliment, kind of. Yeah, I mean, what's dope about the line is it's very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that's really nice," Swift said at the time.
