Jamie Lynn Spears may had quietly relished an "I knew it" moment.

The 33-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories to post a cryptic message following the unexpected resolution of the lengthy legal feud between her older sister, Britney Spears, 42, and their father Jamie Spears, 71.

According to Ace Showbiz, the former Nickelodeon star remained composed, humorously sharing a meme featuring a displeased young boy with a caption that reads, "Me watching what I predicted unfold after everyone told me I was crazy."

Spears vs. Spears

The terms of the agreement remain confidential, but according to TMZ, the singer and her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, have decided to cover Jamie's $2 million legal expenses. This resolution now indicates that the scheduled trial concerning Britney's accusations of her father's misconduct throughout her lengthy conservatorship will no longer proceed as planned for June.

During a court deposition in June 2021, the "Baby One More Time" singer claimed that her father and other legal guardians had coerced her into embarking on a concert tour despite her objections. Furthermore, she disclosed the administration of lithium to her, causing sensations of intoxication, along with the imposition of restrictions against her desires to marry, start a family, and utilize a particular form of contraception.

According to sources close to the outlet, reports suggest that Britney is reportedly seething over the resolution, even though she would have needed to approve it.

In a post shared on her social media account following the announcement, Britney appeared to convey her acceptance of the situation.

The mom-of-two's caption read, "Eventually you will understand that love heals everything and that is all there is... and REAL wine feels extremely nice as well! Pss first time with real wine Jesus f-ing Christ!!!"

The End of a Battle

"It has been our honor and privilege to represent, protect, and defend Britney Spears," Rosengart said in a statement to CNN.

"Ms. Spears is and always will be an icon and a brilliant and brave artist of historic and epic proportion."

"Although the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, her wish for freedom is now truly complete. As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court in this matter."

Meanwhile, Alex Weingarten, the attorney representing Jamie, released a statement on behalf of his client. "Jamie is thrilled that this is all over. Jamie loves his daughter very much and worked tirelessly to protect her. He wants the best for Britney, nothing less."
