A meme showing Céline Dion rolling up her car window on a fan singing one of her hit songs has gone viral again.

On X, the meme in question has earned more than 7 million views after it was posted on the social media platform on Friday, April 26. The viral video, which originally circulated in 2020, showed Dion rolling up her car window when a fan sang "I Surrender" slightly off-key.

What Really Happened Between Céline Dion and the Fan Explained

Under the original post on X, a fan uploaded the original video proving that the meme was edited. The original clip captured the "To Love You More" singer asking her driver to stop so she could listen to the fan before giving her a fist bump.

Some fans previously assumed that the woman was former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke, but she dismissed the buzz by singing Dion's "All By Myself" in a TikTok video.

"Guys, I hate to break it to you, but that was not me! That's not me. Here is me," Brooke captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Rolling Stone confirmed that the person singing in the original video was "musician and certified life coach" Freida Solomon.

"I just start belting 'I Surrender,' shivering and shaking as I did it. I forgot that there were other people around because I was so entranced. ... She was listening and she didn't have to," Solomon told Paper after the video went viral. "There are so many different ways it could have got shown, of what they edited, but for me it was such a pure moment that will stay that pure no matter what."

Where Is Celine Dion Now?

Dion recently appeared on the cover of Vogue France and sat for an interview with the magazine, during which she discussed several things, including her battle with stiff-person syndrome.

"I haven't beat the disease, as it's still within me and always will be. I hope that we'll find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it. So that's me, now with Stiff Person Syndrome," she said.

Despite her questions, Dion assured her fans that she has the support of her family and children; thus, "nothing is going to stop" her.
