The struggle never ends for Taylor Swift fans trying to score tickets to the Eras Tour.

Facebook users say that the platform did nothing when their accounts were hacked to sell fake tickets to the sold-out concert tour. Several are alleging that their friends lost massive amounts of money after paying for the tickets. However, after multiple reports, Facebook had no response.

BBC reports that Facebook accounts were hijacked to sell tickets to her U.K. tour dates, with Worcester resident Kerry Plant revealing that two of her friends lost over £300 each when they fell for the fake tickets.

The bot message posted by the hacker states that she has four "front facing tickets" for the Liverpool performance of the Eras Tour in June. The post goes on to say that "me and my mates manic bought them during the presale and were lucky enough to get four tickets." For £155 each, the post also claimed to have access to Ticketmaster to prove the point of purchase.

The fake tickets were quite the bargain, with prices for the tour stop currently going for £500 on resale websites.

Plant says she attempted to use the platform's suggested steps to help fix a hacked account, also emailing the tech support team multiple times. They have continuously tried to contact the social media platform about how the breach of security could be remedied, even taking their concerns straight to the top by emailing Meta chairman Mark Zuckerberg.

"It's upset me quite a bit that I've not been able to stop this happening, and that Facebook hadn't responded to me, despite quite a lot of effort," she states. "We even found [Facebook chief executive] Mark Zuckerberg's email and emailed him, but a couple of days later I got an email back saying, 'You don't have permission to email this person.'"

She continues to share that she feels "powerless" as she attempts to get a response from the corporation.

"So lots of hours have been spent trying to rectify it. But I feel like they're obviously such a big company that they just don't care about this sort of stuff."

While only two friends actually sent the money, several of Plant's other Facebook connections almost fell for the trick, contacting her directly before they paid the massive sums. Since she had not been able to fix her account, she has resorted to contacting all of her friends individually to warn them about the current state of her profile.

The company has since removed Plant's account after the BBC had contacted them.

Swift's Eras Tour will return on Thursday, launching in Paris on May 9. Featuring opening act Paramore, has shows planned over the next month in Madrid, Stockholm, Lisbon, Edinburgh, and more. She will play Europe through August, before returning to the U.S. in October for what are seemingly the final shows of the tour.
