Britney Spears shared with her 42.2 million Instagram followers on May 22, Wednesday that she's grappling with "nerve damage" so severe it occasionally hampers her ability to think. She again hinted that she's not completely stable, but the world is not giving her much leeway to just be her authentic self.

In a now-deleted Instagram post but reported by Daily Mail UK, the 42-year-old pop icon disclosed that many are unaware of the physical toll her body endured during her 13-year conservatorship, which ended in November 2021.

"I'm not here to be a victim, I'm here to express that even though I did a book about my experiences, the trauma is still there and probably will always be," the troubled star explained.

The "Hold Me Closer" singer continued, "It's extremely deep and to my knowledge, all I can do is do the best I can and know it's okay to be upset some days or not be okay and that's something I don't feel like the world has allowed me to do!!!!"

She further shared her struggles with feeling bullied and unfairly judged, emphasizing that her recourse is to strive for enlightenment through prayer and forgiveness.

She then elaborated on the challenges of forgiving her parents, Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears, whom she accused of inflicting "serious nerve damage" on the "right side" of her body.

"I have to be the bigger person and forgive my own parents... but that's extremely hard!!!' she stated. "I will do my best to let it go and not let others down by my anger!!!"

Back in 2022, Spears initially disclosed her experience with nerve damage on her right side, attributing it to her time in a medical facility where she claimed she was involuntarily placed in 2019. Despite mentioning there's "no cure" for her pain, she revealed that dancing provides some relief from the symptoms.

Just a week ago, the star said she absolutely misses her "beautiful" family despite their differences.

Spears, turned to Instagram on May 15th, to post a snapshot featuring herself, her mother Lynne, sister Jamie Lynn, and Jamie Lynn's two daughters gathered around a kids' table. "I'm posting this pic because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them," she said.

"So not to sound righteous but in a world of chaos and confusion the trickery of the devil is to mislead you and humiliate you," she also said.

However, earlier this month, Spears captured attention when she was spotted being escorted out of Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont, walking barefoot. The LAFD later confirmed their response to a call concerning an injured woman. On May 2, Spears addressed the incident on Instagram, asserting that she had simply rolled her ankle. She attributed the mishap to her mother, Lynne.
