Yes, you read that headline right: Pop star Justin Bieber will reportedly be the voice of the famous Pontiac Firebird Trans AM from the 1980s TV show Knight Rider in a new David Hasselhoff comedy.

That is a lot to process, but according to Yahoo! Insider, it is true.

Hasselhoff revealed that he got the Bieb to help out on his new comedy, Killing Hasselhoff, by doing a solid for the young singer.

"He called me and asked me for a favor and I called him back and said, 'Can you do me a favor?' and he said, 'Yes,'" Hasselhoff said. "I did his favor first because I love the Bieb. I think he's a cool kid and he gets a bad rap. He's a good guy and I like his music. I've known him for five years."

According to the International Movie Database's page for the movie, the film also stars Jon Lovitz and Jim Jefferies.

Jeffries told Yahoo, "Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in this movie — you can't say that every day."

The movie is about one man's mission to win a celebrity death pool by hiring a hit man to murder the Hoff.

Funnyman Ken Jeong, also a part of the film, added, "Justin couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. He was just so generous with his time, and nailed the scene."

Earlier this week, Yahoo! reported seeing Bieber and Hasselhoff driving around in the famous car, which was originally voiced by William Daniels, aka Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World.

Hasselhoff starred in Knight Rider from 1982-86 before the series was axed by NBC. There have been a handful of movies and TV series based on the original show, with the most recent rumors centered around Chris Pratt and Danny McBride to star in a major studio remake for the silver screen.
