During an interview with Power 106 in Los Angeles, Kendrick Lamar hinted at a possible guest spot on Lil Wayne's upcoming album Tha Carter V, though he refused to confirm anything.

"Can I say that? Am I on Tha Carter V?" Lamar mused outloud when asked about Weezy's next album. "Umm, I wouldn't know. I gotta see. I don't wanna say."

Though Lamar would not confirm if he is actually featured on Tha Carter V, he did reveal that he and Wayne have worked together recently, though he is unsure how their collaboration will end up being released.

"Me and Wayne worked," Lamar admitted. "I don't know if it'll be on Tha Carter V or it'll be a leak. I've always been a fan of Wayne, so wherever it goes, it's all love with me. I'm just honored to work with bro — he's always been an influential cat coming up."

MTV points out that this will not be the first time Lamar and Wayne have worked together, or even the first time this year. Back in June, Lamar and Wayne appeared together on Mike WiLL Made It's single "Buy the World" along with Future. That song was included on Mike WiLL Made It's debut album Est. in 1989 Pt. 3.

Lamar's most recent single "I" was released Sept. 23, and it is the first single to be shared from his upcoming album, which has yet to be given a title or release date.

Wayne's Tha Carter V is set for release Oct. 28.
