Just last week, the NFL announced its ban on Beats by Dre headphones worn by players on camera, but it looks like their efforts are to no avail. Despite an official sponsorship from Bose, players continue to wear their Beats.

As noted by XXL, the NFL front office has been handing out fines to players for breaking the rule, a repercussion the players obviously have no problem with.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady were all caught rocking the forbidden headphones during pregame warm-ups Sunday.

As previously reported by Yahoo! Sports, the ban applies to "all TV interviews during training camps or practice sessions and on game day." Restrictions also bar players from appearing on-camera with Beats during postgame interviews up to 90 minutes after the end of each game.

But Newton and Sherman both have endorsement deals with the headphone manufacturer, and it is believed Beats is picking up the $10,000 fine tab for them.

As reported by Rolling Stone, the ban "isn't expected to impact Beats' promotional deals with NFL Pro Bowlers like Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton," but the rules apply just the same.

Following the announcement of the ban, Beats by Dre promptly responded with a statement of its own, claiming that the brand has become "as important to performance as any other piece of equipment."
