Ever left a comment on one of your favorite, or not so favorite, artists' videos and wondered how they'd respond? Well, the folks over at Noisey sat Ty Dolla $ign to read the comments left on his "Or Nah" video. He came up with some pretty hilarious responses and praised The Weeknd. Ty is also preparing to release a new album.
"I'm a positive guy so we're always going to beat the negative," Ty said of the comments on his video.
Some out the comments were pretty outlandish. There's a girl who thinks she's pregnant, others making lame jokes and a random request to touch Ty's hair.
In the 4-minute clip, he even spoke highly of The Weeknd and offered up some sound advice on how to get it popping on your own.
"The thing I like about Weeknd is he's just himself," he said of his "Or Nah" collaborator. "I think everyone should be more like him. Just be yourself. You don't have to look like the next man or dress like the next man or sound like the next man. You know, just because he was popping. Just do your own thing and you can get it popping. Period."
Ty spoke on his new album, Free TC, during an interview with XXL earlier this month. He revealed his latest project is set to feature Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj, among many others.
"Just good music, some Taylor Gang, Pushaz Ink s--t," Ty said when asked what fans can expect from Free TC. "I got a song with Kendrick on there. My little brother Big TC, Wale; of course I'm going to get Wiz Khalifa, YG and everybody else. I got to be my brother's keeper. One of the songs off the album, which is going to be my first single called 'Stand,' it's pretty hard. It's just getting people ready for it.
