Earlier this week, MTV shared a letter Gucci wrote to fans from jail. In the letter, he talks about sobriety, his future plans and striving for "something greater."

"My idea is to take my career to the next level. I am planning to take my music to a higher level and use the attention and influence to sell movies, books, clothing and be a living testimony to all people showing that you can start from humble beginnings and transcend to something greater."

Chief Keef recently made headlines when reports of him being dropped from Interscope poured onto the Internet. According to an anonymous source, the split occurred about two weeks ago in relation to the numerous legal troubles Keef has faced in the last two years, including drug charges and a shootout that occurred in Chicago in March.

He also made headlines when his Glo Gang affiliate Yae Yae Jordan was charged with murder following a nightclub shooting.
