The Taylor Swift/Harry Styles relationship captured the hearts of millions, hoping for something lasting from two good-looking and incredibly talented pop stars at the top of their game. Since their break up, Harry Styles can't seem to escape Taylor's song writing and has been a common theme in her recent work. Now in a recent Google hangout led by director Ben Winston, producer of last year's One Direction documentary One Direction: This Is Us, Harry was posed the question about his inclusion in her songs and he had the chance to respond.

As reported by Billboard, his answer could be considered very diplomatic or even political, as he responded, "We write from personal, and I think everyone does, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like, 'Oh you can't write about us,' And she's really good, so they're good songs. So I'm really lucky in that sense."

He has a point; at least Taylor Swift is very talented. When dating fellow musicians, you should be cognizant of their songwriting abilities, because if things don't end well then you may have songs written about you and poor ones at that.

While it must be weird to have his ex constantly releasing songs about him, it helps the One Direction brand to be in the ears of a same demographic of listeners.

One Direction are gearing up to the release of their album Four and this Google hangout was all part of that marketing push, taking questions from their incredibly passionate fan base. Though the album leaked a few days ago after Brazilian retailers started selling the album early and inevitably it found its way online a low quality rip. Despite the potential major set back, the album seems to have not lost its momentum and should do very well, though maybe not Taylor Swift well.
