Jack White closed out the European/U.K. leg of his recent tour earlier in the week in London. As the show came to a close, White took the time to pay tribute to Isaiah "Ikey" Owens, his keyboard player who died of a heart attack last month in Mexico while on tour. The guitarist offered "Love Interruption" from Blunderbuss in memory of Owens as the crowd applauded.

White took a short break from touring after losing Owens, eventually replacing him with Dean Fertita, Consequence of Sound notes. Head to the five-minute mark in the video below to see the guitarist's shoutout.

Owens was found dead in his hotel room in Mexico on Oct. 14. The coroner ruled the cause of death as a result of a heart attack a few days later.

"It is with great sadness that we tell the world of the passing of the incredible musician Isaiah "Ikey" Owens," White's Third Man Records website read. "He will be missed and loved forever by his family, friends, bandmates and fans.

"We will all miss you Ikey. You were and are an incredible artist."

Owens played on White's most recent release, Lazaretto, as well as albums by Mars Volta and Free Moral Agents. The Long Beach, Calif., native spoke to the Orange County Register in June about moving to Nashville.

"Now that I'm getting older, it's really hard to try and professionally make records in Long Beach," he said. "I don't want to live in L.A.; I'm not really interested in New York. Nashville has been really good to me and kind of developing my career more in the studio."
