Last month, Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo shocked their fans when the young couple confirmed they had called it quits. Sparks is currently preparing the release of her upcoming Bye Felicia mixtape. On the tape, Sparks took the opportunity to shade her ex-boyfriend on a new remix of Drake's "How Bout Now."

Sparks premiered her mixtape cut during an interview with the LA Leakers.

"Remember I deleted all my other guys' numbers out my phone for ya?/Remember when you broke your neck and I had to wash your back for ya?" she sings.

"You didn't really fuck with me way back then, but how bout now?/'Cause I'm up right now and you suck right now."

As noted by Rap-Up, Bye Felicia drops Tuesday, November 25, at 11:11 a.m. PST.

Derulo previously spoke about the couple's break-up, calling the relationship "unhealthy," according to Singersroom.

"The last conversation was at dinner. We was sitting at (a restaurant) and we had an argument about a specific something that I don't wanna mention. And that argument just kind of did it for me. After that point I didn't wanna talk to her (anymore)," he told Hot 97. "After that specific argument [I chose to walk away]. It's not like it was because of that, but it was just like the last straw ... You know something can get so unhealthy and you just, at some point, have to walk away."

The "Wiggle" singer claimed that pressure from his ex-girlfriend and outside sources to get married put too much pressure on their relationship, an assertion Sparks agreed with during a visit to the Wendy Williams Show.

"We set ourselves up for that one," Sparks said.
