Hopefully the cold still doesn't bother fans of Disney's Frozen because it sounds like there's a sequel on the way. Idina Menzel, who voiced Princess Elsa and sang the wildly popular song "Let It Go," confirmed a second installment of the hit movie recently. She also said that a stage production is being developed, but she doesn't know if she'll have any involvement in that, The Telegraph notes.

Menzel said that the sequel and theater show were both "in the works." There's also a six-minute short titled Frozen Fever that will either hit theaters Christmas Day (December 25) or sometime in spring 2015. Menzel assumes she'll be asked back for the sequel, but she doesn't know about the stage show.

"Not the stage show — I don't know what will happen with that — but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride," she said.

Frozen, which was released around this time last year, raked in more than $400 million in domestic sales, Box Office Mojo reports. It won Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for "Let It Go" at the Academy Awards.

The movie's soundtrack conquered the charts, hitting number one on the Billboard 200 and Top Soundtracks list. Led by Menzel and Demi Lovato's versions of "Let It Go," the compilation also featured singles like "Do You Want to Build a Snowman," "For the First Time in Forever" and "Love is an Open Door."

"I remember some of those classic Disney songs from movies, and you knew the character but you didn't know the person behind the song. But this is different, this is weird," Menzel told The Telegraph. Her hit song, penned by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, has been parodied and performed many times since the movie's release.

"I guess my advice is that everyone who likes to sing it should sing it loud and proud and karaoke it out, sing it in the shower, sing it in the car and don't worry about hitting the high notes," she added about the song.
