Johnny "Football" Manziel finally got a chance to prove himself on a professional football field yesterday, Nov. 30, and he did not disappoint. While he had his share of lows, he also ignited the Cleveland Browns in the fourth quarter of their game against the Buffalo Bills.

One play in particular — a 10-yard touchdown run — stood out.

"They got a good rush up the field,'' he told cleveland.com. "It really left a big hole as I was keeping my eyes downfield, it kind of popped open. I saw the 'backer grab onto somebody and it was a huge hole and I felt like I could take it and luckily got in.''

Here is Manziel's first career touchdown:

The young quarterback followed the excellent play with his signature "money" fingers:

The Browns ended up losing 26-10 and coach Mike Pettine announced he would not name a starter — Manziel or Brian Hoyer — until Wednesday, Dec. 3.

"That's obviously coach Pettine's decision,'' said Manziel. "Coach Pettine has done nothing but put us in the right situation throughout the entire year. I don't see that changing anytime moving forward. I think he's going to put this football team in the best position to win and whoever does that, that's his choice. He's been in this game a lot longer than I have, obviously.''

The opportunity would certainly be exciting, with the Browns still in contention for a playoff spot. They play the Indianapolis Colts next weekend.

"Maybe get a chance to start at home, Cleveland fans are nuts,'' he said. "It's obviously a game that, going down the stretch, every single one of them is important to us, so we need to go out and get a win next week. We have to put the time in, put the work in throughout this week to make sure we're prepared to go out on Sunday.''
