Meek Mill will be home for the holidays. The "Believe It" rapper is being sent home today, Dec. 2, after being sentenced to three to six months in jail for violating his probation in July. He will be out a month early, Fox Philadelphia reports, with his original release date set for Jan. 11.

According to the news outlet, Mill, aka Robert Williams, will not be allowed to travel outside Philly until he completes community service and anger management courses.

Although he was originally denied early parole, Mill completed three programs while locked up that helped his early release. The prison sentence stemmed from a 2009 drug and gun incident.

Rick Ross offered an update last month on Mill, saying the rapper could be getting out soon.

"I spoke to him and it may be five days from now," Ross said. "The big homie was sentenced to six months off the rip. We done got our hopes up a couple of times so I said I wasn't going to feed into that again. When he come home, he come home. At worst it won't be more than a month at this point."

Mill's second album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, was originally due out in September. No word on a new release date yet. Music Times will keep you posted on that.
