October and November have/will continue being huge for music, especially on the pop front. The stars are aligning, and female pop stars seem to be aligning their record releases as well. Miley Cyrus got the ball rolling with Bangerz, which topped the Billboard 200 two weeks ago,  and Katy Perry's Prism will undoubtedly do the same, perhaps even topping Justin Timberlake for this year's bestselling first week. Lady Gaga was the last performer to go platinum in one week, with 2011's Born This Way, and she could do it again in November with ARTPOP. Although being released a few days into December, Britney Spears' Britney Jean could at least make a Miley-sized splash.

So it's easy to understand how Beyonce Knowles, one of the music world's biggest names, has fallen under the radar. There's no date or title in mind for the songstress's follow-up to 2011's 4, but Pharrell Williams says that something is in the works, and that he's been involved with the project.

"B's album is crazy," he said. "Let me tell you what it is. She's very particular. She's a Virgo. And she's not going to put it out until it's ready and feels like it's right to her. She's got a very specific taste. I guess that's the reason she's Beyonce. Her name is recognizable around the globe and that's huge. That comes from someone that has very particular taste. When you know what you want, you won't stop until you get it."

In other words, it might take a while for this to see the light of day. But when it does, it'll be a smash. As Williams has guest-starred in the year's two bestselling singles ("Blurred Lines" and "Get Lucky"), we're willing to take his word for it.
