Dr. Luke and Kesha are currently wrapped up in a defamation suit, but it appears their relationship wasn't always tumultuous. The producer recently handed over a birthday card from Kesha as evidence to the court. The 27-year-old singer is also suing the producer for sexual assault, battery and forced drug use.

According TMZ, the card, which is covered in lipstick kisses, is supposed to serve as proof that Kesha once had romantic feelings for him. He did not reveal when it was sent.

"To the foxxy-est producer ever! Ur just getting better with time! Thank you 4 helping me make my wildest dreams come true! I love you!" the card reads.

More evidence in the case comes in the form of emails from Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert. One reportedly reads,

"I hope you know, as much as you have been there for Kesha and me, that we will always be there for you, as family and friends, if you need anything."

With this evidence Dr. Luke is trying to prove that their relationship wasn't abusive but rather amicable.

Sebert is also involved in another suit filed by Dr. Luke, accusing her of stirring up false accusations of sexual assault in order to get her daughter released from her contract with the producer. She has her own suit against Dr. Luke, which accuses him of causing her daughter PTSD end emotional distress from his abuse.

Since the sexual-assault suit was filed against him by Kesha, Dr. Luke has worked to get part of the case dismissed.

He has also filed a lawsuit against Kesha's lawyer for implying that he raped Lady Gaga.

With so many suits and countersuits in the works, these proceedings are sure to get messy. We'll update you as more information becomes available.
