R&B superstar Ne-Yo has shared a new track titled "Make It Easy" off his upcoming studio album Non-Fiction, which you can check out below. The track features some excellent electro-R&B production, particularly when it comes to the beat, while Ne-Yo stays predictably on top of his vocal game.

"Make It Easy" is the fifth song to be shared from Ne-Yo's upcoming album Non-Fiction, following "Coming with You," "She Knows" featuring Juicy J, "Money Can't Buy" featuring Jeezy and "Time of Our Lives" with Pitbull. The album is set for release Jan. 27, though this was pushed back from an original summer 2014 release date — it was also promised Nov. 11. It will be Ne-Yo's sixth studio album overall, his first since 2012's R.E.D.

Non-Fiction will feature guest appearances by Schoolboy Q, Charisse Mills, T.I. and Candice, among others. You can check out the album's complete tracklist here.

"I'm calling it [Non-Fiction] for two reasons," Ne-Yo told Complex about his new album. "First reason being: Every song on this album in a 100 percent true story ... some of them actually belong to my fans ... the stories that kind of hit home, I wrote songs about. Reason 2: I feel like Non-Fiction kind of describes who I am as an artist as this point ... what you see is what you get. It's all real, I'm non-fiction."

"I'm a storyteller," Ne-Yo said about his songwriting. "With this album, I wanted to put a magnifying glass to that ... I wanted Non-Fiction to feel cinematic: Each track gives listeners something entertaining, yet if they take their time with it, they'll discover different dimensions and subplots."
