Kermit the frog is so desirable, Miss Piggy and Lady Gaga are fighting over him in the new trailer for the upcoming ABC Thanksgiving special Lady Gaga and the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular.

The show will feature appearances from actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kristen Bell and musical duo performances from Gaga and Kermit and Gaga with Elton John.

This isn't the first time Gaga has shown her affection for the lovable frog, in 2009 she showed up on a German television program wearing a dress adorned with Kermit toys.

"I was so excited when ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year. I knew it just wouldn't be a complete night of laughter and memories without the Muppets!" Gaga said last month in a statement, according to Rolling Stone. She also went ahead and dispelled any potential rumors about a relationship with Kermit. "Can't wait to see the gang again and I hope Miss Piggy's still not mad about Kermit. We're just friends!"

It isn't the first holiday special for Gaga. In 2011 she starred in A Very Gaga Thanksgiving. Fans of the classic puppets and the eccentric pop icon are in for a treat next year with the new movie Muppets Most Wanted, which is set to hit the theaters March 21, 2014. Both Gaga have had a lot of buzz lately with the singer hosting SNL and the Muppets releasing their spoof on the new film Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Lady Gaga and the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular will air on Thanksgiving night at 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC. Watch the trailer below.
