Kanye West fans who follow the So Help Me God rapper on Twitter got the inside scoop on his surprise concert at KOKO in London yesterday, March 3.

West informally announced his surprise gig by retweeting a tweet from the Live Nation UK Twitter account, @LiveNationUK, which read:

"Tonight: @kanyewest to play one off show @KOKOLondon. Over 18s only, doors 11pm, strictly 2 tickets person..."

Fans quickly replied to the message expressing their excitement for the show -- or disappointment that they either could not make it or the tickets were already sold out.

Billboard reported that West was joined by Big Sean, Wu-Tang Clan's Kaekwon, Skepta, CyHi the Prynce and Vic Mensa.

Following a packed promotional week, this surprise gig only continues to keep the buzz around West. Just Monday, March 2, West was personally handing his new Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost sneakers to fans who purchased a pair at the Adidas Originals store in London. He also spent his Monday lecturing students at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

According to The Telegraph, KOKO, in Camden, has a capacity of 1,500. Tickets sold for 50 pounds -- $76.31 -- and fans waited in line until after midnight. The crowd included celebrity guests, Will.i.am, Tim Westwood and Delilah.

Spin reported that the performance included popular hits like "Blessings," Big Sean's Dark Sky Paradise hit "So Appalled" off CyHi the Prynce's album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and the "That's Not Me" single by Skepta. Kanye invited Raekwon out to perform Wu Tang hit "C.R.E.A.M" and West's "Blood on Leaves."

Attendees of the surprise and intimate concert took to Twitter:

"I thought it was just going to be Kanye ranting on stage. This is a full blown Summer Jam in KOKO. Historical concert." -- @MeTrinaJC

"These last 12 hours have been quite possibly the best 12 hours of my LIFE. Kanye at KOKO was unreal. Beyond words." -- @Niallbowes
