On the 18th anniversary of Notorious B.I.G.'s death, Big Boy's Neighborhood on 92.3 in Los Angeles brought on Kendrick Lamar to talk about his album and do a few freestyles over classic Biggie beats. Kendrick effortlessly laid down three separate freestyles over instrumentals for "Respect," "The What" and "Kick in the Door," spitting an impressive three-minute freestyle. Listen to the freestyle below via Revolt.

Kendrick stuck around to talk about his album that still does not have a name but will be out before the end of the month March 23. He was not ready to share the title just yet, but that is part of the surprise with his album marketing campaign. Instead of pulling a Beyoncé and dropping the album on a dime, he may be leaving the critical album information like cover art and tracklist as a surprise.

K.Dot also talked about the other projects at Top Dog Entertainment from Jay Rock and Schoolboy Q, mentioning that they were working on some great new material, especially Jay Rock, whom fans have been waiting on an album for close to two years, via Complex.

The album is available for pre-order on iTunes now and contains 15 untitled tracks, plus the previously released "The Blacker the Berry."

The new, as-yet-untitled album will be the follow-up to Lamar's critically acclaimed major label debut good kid m.A.A.d. city, which was released in 2013.

Kendrick appears to be in full form with the album right around the corner, so start your countdown to March 23.
