In between all the touring with Major Lazer and promotion he has been doing for Jack Ü and his dancehall-inspired project, Diplo is still finding the time to put together remixes of an eclectic range of pop and indie songs. His latest remix is for one of pop's biggest rebels, QT, and her single "Hey QT."

Premiered last night, March 10, on BBC Radio One with Annie Mac, Diplo signed off saying, "TTYL" before letting Mac launch right into his new remix. Diplo keeps many of the bubblegum bass elements from the original with its sugary melodies, pitched voices and over-the-top, in-your-face sound.

But he tones down the sugary elements to rework "Hey QT" for a club setting, bringing out some 808s, chopping and stretching vocal parts and jarring synth work. As to be expected, the track was ripped and put online. Listen to the radio rip on YouTube below via Spin.

Though it seems as though one of the most in-demand producer/DJs in the world is always busy, Diplo is having an especially busy start to 2015. He started 2015 promoting his album with Skrillex as Jack Ü titled Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, which featured the likes of Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz and AlunaGeorge.

He is prepping an upcoming Major Lazer album, which the "Express Yourself" DJ just spent a week in Europe promoting. The album, slated for an April release, is expected to have Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding and Gwen Stefani on the album. The trio's collaboration "Lean On" featuring DJ Snake and  was released last Monday, March 2.
