Courtney Love seems to have fully committed to her return to acting. After her recent guest performance as a washed-up former rock icon on Fox's Empire and her guest appearance on FX's Sons of Anarchy last year, the Hole frontwoman continues her television takeover with a new recurring role on the ABC drama Revenge.

Love will play a "jetsetter" named White Gold (we know what side of #TheDress debate she must've been on) who comes to the Hamptons because of the character Margaux LeMarchal (Karine Vanasse), the editor of Voulez magazine and daughter of a French billionaire. Her first episode on the show airs Sunday, March 29 at 10 p.m. EST, People reports.

Not much is known about her character other than her name and reason for visiting the Hamptons, so it will be interesting to see what sort of personality Love will have to tap into for the role. While her role as Elle on Empire seemed to parallel her own life in certain ways, her role as a Hamptonite seems to be quite a new type of character for the grunge rocker.

Love's last major film role was as Cheryl in 2002's Trapped.

She earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Althea Leasure Flynt in 1996's The People vs. Larry Flynt, however she did not win the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture.

In an interview with Paper Mag last year for her role in Sons of Anarchy, Love spoke about what it was like to return to acting as a middle-aged woman.

"It's a challenge to be 50 and starting over in acting. But I'm focused...I'm here to work. I don't go to events. My excuse for not going out is that I only have one couture gown.... It's more important for me to act right now than to play rock 'n' roll."
