The idea of Christmastime just got a little warmer today (July 18). "America's Sweetheart" Courtney Love revealed on her Facebook page that she plans to release two new songs before the end of the year. The Hole frontwoman announced the name of two new songs and that the will be released around Christmas.

Before midnight last night, Love wrote "I'm dying for you guys to hear 'Wedding Day' and 'California' but you'll have to wait til xmas x c," on her Facebook page for her 116,00 fans.

Love then proceeded to share some of the opening lyrics to her two new tracks. "Teaser....break my neck on my wedding day, here comes the bride and shes covered in ache, she cant walk but she can crawl," Love wrote for "Wedding Day." Lyrics to "California" include "All the lawyers are disbarred, and they've just declined your black card."

According to Love, the latter lyric is her favorite line she's ever written.

According to an interview published today on Billboard, "California" and "Wedding Day" will be released as a double A-side single in December, to coincide with her yet-to-be-titled memoir.

Love also detailed the sound of the two new songs. "They couldn't be more different. 'Wedding Day' is, like, two minutes and 59 seconds. It's a perfect punk song. I wish I had written it when I was 19," said Love. "And California is my final big to write the perfect California song, and I think I did."

She went on to describe "California" as a "really, really tight pop-punk song" with a "twinge" of Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

The two songs will be out by the end of the year. Her new album, tentatively titled Died Blonde will be released in 2014.
