Nicki Minaj may be overseas touring, but she will be back in the States this month for a special performance at the 2015 Jordan Brand Classic in Brooklyn. According to XXL, Minaj confirmed that she would be performing at the classic, an all-star game for the nation's top high school basketball recruits. It will take place April 17 at the Barclays Center.

This marks the 14th year Jordan Brand has backed the contest. The game serves as the last hurrah for the best prep players in the nation before school is out for the summer and they disperse to their respective college programs.

"Since 2002, the Jordan Brand Classic has celebrated elite high school basketball talent from across the country," the classic's site reads.

The site also indicated that the classic will hold its first girls event this year.

Notable JBC alumni include Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

Nicki Minaj will return to the Barclays Center later this year when she brings the North American leg of her The Pinkprint tour to town. As previously reported, the tour will include guest sets by Meek Mill, Dej Loaf, Tinashe and Rae Sremmurd.

The U.S. leg kicks off in Dallas July 17 with stops in Miami, Toronto, Atlanta and Denver. The Pinkprint tour will also make its way to Vancouver.

In February, it was announced that Nicki Minaj's album The Pinkprint became certified gold, selling 500,000 copies. The album features "Anaconda," "Only" and "Truffle Butter." The latter two songs feature her fellow Young Money rhymers Drake and Lil Wayne.

Last year, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed at the Jordan Brand Classic following their Grammy sweep. Drizzy also performed back in 2013.
