Chance the Rapper has shared on his YouTube channel the music video for his single "Sunday Candy" as part of the four-member group Social Experiment with Donnie Trumpet. The single will be a part of their upcoming album Surf, which fans have been clamoring for since late last year. The video is a playful take on the gospel-influenced track helmed by Social Experiment with Jamila Woods singing the hook. Chance the Rapper becomes Chance the Dance in a musical theater-styled video with constantly moving retro stage designs. Chance and Woods act as the protagonists surrounded by dancers who perform a variety of choreographed moves throughout the nearly four-minute video. Chance joins in on several occasions. Watch the fun video below.

The clip was written by Chance and directed by him with Ian Eastwood and Austin Vesely.

"Sunday Candy" is a single taken from Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment's upcoming album Surf. It was initially supposed to be released last year as a free download, but it was pushed back indefinitely. The foursome of Chance the Rapper, Donnie Trumpet (real name Nico Segal), Peter Cottontale and Nate Fox comprise Social Experiment, though Donnie Trumpet helms the project.

At the time of the official release, Segal spoke to The Fader about the track and how the creative process works for the group.

"This song specifically is a great representation of [The Social Experiment's] collaborative efforts," Segal explained. "It's my curation, but then bringing it to the table with all these beautiful people and including them in their own way. Jamila sang on that hook, then I brought it to the collective. Peter added some great layers of texture and helped produce, Nate added a bunch of drums, tons of our friends from Chicago played instruments and added their ideas."
