The seemingly inevitable has happened... a new song has taken the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. After spending 14 weeks at the top of the charts, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's genre-bending single "Uptown Funk" has finally been dethroned by the Furious 7 soundtrack single "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.

"See You Again" jumped up from No. 10 to No. 1 this week, to finally unseat "Uptown Funk," according to Billboard. The song was helped not just by the No. 1 position of its soundtrack on the Billboard 200 but also from the biggest sales week of the year, with 464,000 units sold. The music video for "See You Again," which acted as a tribute for deceased Furious 7 actor Paul Walker, also boosted the song's standings as it tops the streaming charts this week.

"See You Again" is looking to stay atop the charts for a second week, too, giving Mars and Ronson a big ol' heave-ho from the No. 1 spot, relegating "Uptown Funk" to the status of " tied for second-longest No. 1." But, Mars and Ronson don't have much to sweat... "Uptown Funk" is No. 2 this week.

Due to Khalifa's nine spot jump on the Hot 100, Maroon 5's "Sugar" slipped down to No. 3. Other songs impacted by the vault include: The Weeknd's "Earned It" (down two spots to No. 6), Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" (down from No. 3 to No. 8), and Taylor Swift's "Style," which slipped to No. 10.

Despite the slaughter of comfortable hits on the charts, some acts found success. Fetty Wap's surprise hit "Trap Queen" rose from No.6 to No. 4, as he finds a big home on urban radio.

A new song also vaulted into the top 10 this week, with Ohio rockers Walk the Moon jumping up three spots to break into the No. 9 spot for a brand new high with "Shut Up and Dance." The peppy alt-rock hit follows in the footsteps of fun., blending in pop, energy and plenty of guitars for the infectious sort of single that can sell 136,000 copies and hit pop radio to land into the top of the charts.

Other singles remained stagnant, with Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" holding steady at No. 5 and Flo Rida's "G.D.F.R." keeping it real at No.8, bumping Rihanna's "FourFiveSeconds" out of the top 10.
