Saturday Night Live season 40 is set to top off a star-filled season with three engaging live acts to round out its musical guests. Today (April 22), just a week and a few days ahead of Scarlett Johansson's latest hosting gig, SNL announced that Wiz Khalifa, Florence + The Machine and Rihanna will be this year's final musical guests.

According to the Saturday Night Live Twitter, Khalifa will take the stage on May 2 alongside Johansson. His announcement as a musical guest should come as no huge surprise; this week, Khalifa topped the charts for a second week with his Furious 7 soundtrack single "See You Again," and he's sure to continue the song's hot momentum on SNL (hopefully giving guest artist Charlie Puth some time in the spotlight, too).

Florence + The Machine will be coming off a double headlining gig at Coachella 2015 to perform on the May 9 episode of Saturday Night Live as Reese Witherspoon hosts. Florence's turn at Saturday Night Live follows a big support of indie music on this season. Hozier, Alabama Shakes and George Ezra appeared on the show earlier this year.

And, of course, no SNL finale would be complete without some major star power, which will come via the power of Rihanna (and host Louis CK). Rihanna will be returning to the SNL stage for the fifth time on May 16. Falling in line with her prolific release schedule, Rihanna appeared on Saturday Night Live as a musical guests in seasons 35 through 38.

Let's just hope for a third "Shy Ronnie" video?

The final three performances on Saturday Night Live will wrap up a big 40th season, which also included performances from Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, One Direction and more.
