Courtney Love may be busy acting and promoting the Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck these days, but the rock star has not forgotten her roots. Today (May 18), the Hole frontwoman released a raw new single "Miss Narcissist" via Waaves' Nathan Williams' Ghost Ramp.

Like most of her best singles, Love takes on her public perception on "Miss Narcissist," by playing the part of the narcissist (of course). "Me, me, me / No apologies / And in the end / Miss Narcissist / It's us versus men," Love sings in the chorus, which packs a punch not only with its snarling lyrics but through a hook so catchy you'll be begging to get it out of your head in a few weeks.

Love's vocals, as always, add a bite to "Miss Narcissist" that makes the song immediately sound larger than live. Her raspy voice and sneering tone give this song a major kick, making it more than ready for the stage at Lana Del Rey's 2015 tour.

In a post on her Facebook page, Love revealed that "Miss Narcissist" is a new 7" single due for a vinyl release in summer 2015. The B-side to "Miss Narcissist" will be "Radio Killer."

"Miss Narcissist" is the first new song we've heard from Love in quite some time. Last year, she released the double singles "You Know My Name" and "Wedding Day." She also followed up her solo material with a turn on the FOX hit Empire with a new song "Walk Out on Me."
