Taylor Swift may have grabbed Kendrick Lamar for her "Bad Blood" music video but Lady Gaga has been in touch with the Compton rapper for way longer than it was cool: The emcee grabbed the pop star to deliver a hook for a track that didn't end up on his 2012 album good kid, m.A.A.d city: "Partynauseous." The track seems to have leaked for those wondering what that collaboration might sound like (from Stereogum).

The results are of debatable quality. For one thing, we're assuming that the leak (that you can listen to) wasn't done...unless Lamar was messing around with lo-fi sound, which doesn't seem like his gig. That said, the hook isn't bad at all, with Gaga singing "nod / if you wanna be/ high / with the enemy. / It's a test / Are you proud enough? / Do your best." Lamar proceeds through his verses at a relatively relaxed clip...the only questionable inclusion is Gaga's spoken outro that, like those on many of her own songs, is absurdity for the sake of absurdity.

All told, the song might have had potential with some cleaning up, but fans of either artist aren't exactly missing out that it didn't make the cut on the rapper's sophomore LP.

According to Gaga, circa 2012, there were creative differences between the two parties and the song never got released (although she didn't fault the rapper himself). Hardcore Gaga fans might recognize the hook from the track, as the performer took her own vocal parts and used the has an interlude during the "ARTPOP" tour.

You can check out the demo below...think it's worth resurrecting?
