To promote his upcoming film, Magic Mike XXL, buff star Channing Tatum joined forces with Omaze for a film screening and charity campaign, which allows one fan to accompany Tatum to the June 25 Los Angeles premiere, along with a full day of spa treatments and a top-notch hotel room. During the event, Tatum managed to pull a prank on the anxious crowd all while concealing his identity.

Each entry cost a total of $10 which benefits the Runa Foundation, a nonprofit organization with goals to protect tropical forests and its local people, notes the Hollywood Reporter. The 35-year-old Magic Mike actor decided to execute an amusing trick on the fans ahead of the films July 1 release, going undercover and transforming into a man with grey, elderly looks.

"I'm rounding up the boys to go to the premiere of Magic Mike XXL," the Step Up star told the camera. "I want you to come with me, so, to give you a little preview, we gathered an unsuspecting group of Magic Mike fans."

"We're gonna show them the movie in 3-D. Now, to give the fans the best show possible, I'm going to go undercover and make sure that that happens," Tatum added, as the video showcases Tatum's transformation to an elderly marketing executive with a beard. He continued to tease that he was "the most terrifying marketing exec ever," posing as the executive to remain involved with the screening yet behind the scenes.

As the theater filled with viewers, each fan was given 3-D glasses. A flock of male strippers made an alluring appearance, undressing, dancing and gyrating for the audience. The dancers motioned over the greying marketing executive also known as Tatum, who jokingly shimmied and gave lap dances. Eventually, he lost the beard and wig, unveiling his true identity to the shocked crowd.

"I really enjoy that stuff. I'd go around in a costume every day if I could, for no other reason other than all bets are off. You don't have to be responsible, and you can do whatever you like, especially as an older person. No one ever says anything if you're slightly older and saying weird stuff to people," Tatum said according to Yahoo News.
