Sweetlife Music and Food Festival has announced its 2014 lineup. Lana Del Rey will top the bill for her first East Coast gig of the year, joined by Foster the People, 2 Chainz, Fitz and the Tantrums, Capital Cities, Chromeo, St. Lucia and Bastille. The one-day festival takes place May 10 at Columbia, Maryland's Merriweather Post Pavillion — just outside of Washington D.C. and Baltimore.
Tickets for the festival go on sale February 14 at 10 a.m. EST, but presale begins today on the festival's website.
Beyond the music, the festival is heavily focused on food and is organized by Sweetgreen, an organic farm-to-table salad shop with 22 locations. Sweetgreen will offer its own pop-up tends and grab-and-go stations as well as food stands from other restaurants, farmers and chefs from the area. According to Rolling Stone, all proceeds from the festival will benefit Sweetgreen in Schools, which uses the money to educate children in the Washington D.C. area about healthy eating.
