One Direction's fans have channeled endless energy and promotion toward its favorite band, and now the quartet wants to team up with Directioners to help make the world a better place. Today (July 8), the "Night Changes" group announced its new charitable venture, fittingly titled action/1D.

One Direction announced its partnership with action/2015 in a YouTube video, leaving what charitable venture it embarks on entirely up to the fans. According to Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, they want to know what Directioners want the world to look like, and give your opinions to world leaders.

Citing Directioners ability to rally together, One Direction is asking fans to take that energy and pour it into taking action. "2015 is a year like no other, and we're looking to you to really make it count. You guys are truly amazing and over the years, you've shown us what you can really achieve if you rally together," Styles said. "At two historic summits in September and December, world leaders will make decisions that affect important human issues like extreme poverty, inequality and climate change."

One Direction is now asking fans to speak out and upload a picture or video, stating what they want the world to look like, whether it be less violence, less poverty or less judgment, to pass on the message before this autumn's summit.

As the weeks roll on, One Direction will be issuing new challenges to its fanbase as the summits approach. For now, 1D wants fans to say what kind of world they want to live in and "celebrate" what it will be like when they all change the world together.
