The last 24 hours have been a great day for enthusiasts of Twitter beefs (secretly everyone). The VMAs and perceived snubs caused Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and a whole host of other pop stars to weigh in on who should have been nominated. However the hip-hop world has been turned on its head when Meek Mill, seemingly out of nowhere, called out Drake for allegedly having people write his raps. The fallout has been seen all across the Twitterverse and throughout the hip-hop community and even spilled over into politics. One Toronto city councillor, possibly just looking to take the populist approach and get a few headlines for his poll numbers, told Meek Mill that he was no longer allowed up in Toronto. Mill got word of his potential ban to the Canadian city and fired back at the Toronto government official citing his free speech.

Toronto City Councillor Norm Kelly told Meek Mill that he was "no longer welcome" in his city this morning and Mill called out Mr. Kelly for trying to squash his ability to voice his opinion, saying "U sound like a thug."

See their exchange below.

The feud between Drake and Mill began last night when the Philadelphia called out Drake for allegedly not writing his own raps, which he claims Drake's verse on his Dreams Worth More Than Money track R.I.C.O. was ghostwritten. Drake has yet to respond and it is doubtful he will make a public statement about it because he is bigger then this, but other rappers like OG Maco are also chiming in to agree with Mill, which makes the accusations seem more damning.
