Saturday Night Live season 41 is going to get a big dose of the psychedelic when it debuts in October. Monday (Aug. 17), the legendary NBC sketch show announced its first three hosts of the 2015-16 season, and the big show is kicking off with none other than Miley Cyrus.

Cyrus is slated to host the season opener on Oct. 3, according to SNL's Twitter, which made the big announcement. It's unconfirmed whether or not she'll also be performing as well.

The Saturday Night Live studio is a familiar place for Cyrus, who has hosted the show twice before. Cyrus' first gig on SNL was in 2011 when she hosted with The Strokes as musical guest. Cyrus then played double duty, hosting and performing, in the second episode of SNL's 39th season in 2013.

Cyrus also appeared on the SNL 40 special earlier this year, covering the Paul Simon classic "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover."

Cyrus is not the only announced host for the 41st season of Saturday Night Live; the first three guests of the new year were revealed.

She will be followed by comedian Amy Schumer on Oct. 10, and SNL alumnus Tracy Morgan will be returning to the show on Oct. 17 for the first time since his life threatening car accident in June 2014.
