The Academy of Country Music and dick clark productions have announced a star-studded line-up of performers for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, to be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. ACM Award nominees Blake Shelton, George Strait, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and The Band Perry are all on the card with more artists being announced at a date closer to the show.
The ceremony, which will be co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, will be broadcast Live at 8:00 PM ET with a delayed PT broadcast on the CBS Television Network. Aside from his other duties, Luke will be rushed away for a special performance with Florida Georgia Line at the 4th Annual ACM Fan Jam via live remote at the Mandalay Bay Events Center during the awards telecast.
Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw lead the pack for this year's awards with seven nods each. Coming in right behind them, Keith Urban is up for six with Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves and Lee Brice coming in with five each. Florida Georgia Line and Lady Antebellum each have four shots at the shiny awards.
