Labels and gender norms are two things Miley Cyrus never really cared about. The Bangerz singer just recently announced in an interview with Elle UK that she identifies as pansexual, even as a teen. The controversial 2015 MTV Video Music Awards host will grace the cover of Elle's 30th anniversary cover--their boldest issue to date as it delves into topics concerning gender, fluid sexuality and the trans community.

On the cover shot by Matt Irwin, Cyrus rocks a white Emporio Armani suit, more clothes than we're used to seeing on the star as of late. "I'm very open about it - I'm pansexual," she told the fashion magazine. "But I'm not in a relationship. I'm 22, I'm going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I'm with."

Last month, the former Hannah Montana star told the world of her fluid sexuality, stating that she told her mom that she had same-sex attractions at the age of 14 years old. "I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age," she told Paper magazine. "Everything that's legal, I'm down with. Yo, I'm down with any adult -- anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl."

The "We Can't Stop" singer is most recently connected to Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell but is known for her previous flings with Patrick Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth.

The twerk-happy musician continued to discuss how she uses her outrageous behavior and star-power to her advantage by creating the Happy Hippie Foundation. "I was kind of embarrassed that I got paid money to shake my *ss in a teddy bear costume," she said, "I should not be worth the amount I am while people live on the streets."

Tune into the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards to see what Miley has in store for the "raw" and "psychedelic" show she teased to The New York Times
