Though it is only the pre-show, MTV is bringing out the stars to perform before the main event even begins. While Walk The Moon has been rocking the crowd on the red carpet, with an odd mixture of random covers and Nick Jonas just walked the whole carpet to perform his new single "Levels."
Over the screeching sounds of teens overly excited to see their favorite rejuvenated singer up close and personal. While many individuals try and make a fashion statement, Jonas kept it simple with black jeans and a black leather jacket. Starting by walking up entrance of the carpet, he dons black sunglasses to protect himself from the flashing cameras. He seems to move throughout the entire red carpet area, cooing the words to "Levels" to the adoring, screaming teens outside.
He is surrounded by a large group of dancing women in tight silver suits and astronaut helmets running around the red carpet.
The clip ends as throws a little party surrounded by a couple dozen pretty ladies as confetti rains down and with intense strobe lights going off.
"Levels" has not cracked the Billboard Hot 100 yet, but expect the track to start bubbling up in the charts with the hype surrounding the singer.
Jonas' hit single "Chains" is nominated for the Best Male Video against other tough competition from Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and Mark Ronson.
