Zayn Malik continues to prepare himself for a massive solo career. Since quitting One Direction earlier this year, the "No Type" singer has signed with RCA Records, gotten a new manager, broken off his engagement with Little Mix member Perrie Edwards and landed his first solo magazine cover. Now, the 22-year-old has made another step toward stardom: he's gotten a new PR firm and listed his own solo Facebook page.

Fans on pop culture blog OhNoTheyDidnt pointed out that Malik has now joined Purple PR Media. The major PR firm, which also represents the likes of Adele, Jessie J, Lana Del Rey and Sia now lists Malik as one of the superstars on its roster.

After the Purple PR announcement was made, Malik has rolled out two new verified social media accounts: a Facebook page and Instagram. Though Malik already has a (non-verified) personal Instagram page, the new account is marked under just his first name. It has a single post, his cover of Interview magazine for its #Me issue.

On Tuesday (Sept. 1), Malik also launched his own verified Facebook page. The page is largely bare now and seems to blend together both professional and personal entries including the Interview cover, a photo of the singer and a dog as well as a video captioned "Change is real" featuring the mid-2000s Nickelodeon cartoon character Danny Phantom, who bares more than a passing resemblance to Malik.
