While making the video for her latest single, "Same Old Love," Selena Gomez decided to take the opportunity to give back to her die-hard fans with a surprise at the Palace Theatre in downtown Los Angeles--by featuring a gathering of them in the latest track's official video.

"The big surprise is that my fans are gonna fill up this place and be a part of the music video with me," Gomez explained in an exclusive, behind-the-scenes video clip. "The number one priority when it comes to anything I do is my fans...we wanted this ending to be really cool and interactive in a way, so my fans are gonna be a part of it."

Just two days after its Oct. 7 release, the "Same Old Love" video reeled in over 2 million views on YouTube, adding to Gomez's recent and wild success trailing her tour announcement, the release of her "Good For You" single with A$AP Rocky and her latest studio album, Revival. The former Disney Channel star also adorns the latest cover of Billboard where she further details her recently uncovered lupus diagnosis, her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and the latest ventures in her life and career.

"This is my time. I've deserved this. I earned it. This is all me," Gomez told Billboard. The 23-year-old singer also stopped by Ellen on Friday in support of her latest album, but tackled a wide-range of subjects while on the show. The host questioned how she could join Taylor Swift's infamous best friend squad to talk about wine, baking and boys. "I can talk about boys," DeGeneres told the singer. "Especially if I drink wine, I have a lot to say."

The two continued to talk about the 1989 singer, who Gomez says "pushes [her] to be more confident," when a Taylor Swift impersonator surprised the singer from behind the side table, Entertainment Weekly reports. Just after catching her breath from the first shock, Degeneres then has an Elsa impersonator pop up for round two.
