Last night, New York City's Industry Bar was surprised with a special performer introduced by Nick Jonas, who also shocked the crowd. The "Area Code" singer announced his long-time pal, Demi Lovato, as she took to the stage at the gay bar to perform her single "Confident."

Jonas is no stranger to the gay bar nightlife, having executed a steamy striptease last year at BPM's Gay College Tuesday's. "Hello, you beautiful people," Jonas announced to the Industry Bar audience while adorned in a casual, red zip-up. He then introduced his fellow former Disney Channel star as "the talented and amazing Demi Lovato." As Billboard notes, the full video performance found it's way to Facebook, showcasing just how excited the crowd was to see the two pop singers.

Lovato, dressed in a black crop top and pants, performed the title track to her latest album over screams from the crowd. She told the crowd she loved them before closing out her last minute NYC gig.

"The stand out moment for me was when she actually started performing," DJ David Serrano recalls of the night, according to LogoTV's NewNowNext. "Her voice is STELLAR and you know it was live because for a second she got lost in the moment and forgot her lyrics. She quickly recovered though and hit some spectacular notes." Apparently Kate Hudson was also in attendance that night, which doesn't come too much as a shock after she and the "Levels" singer recently spent time together for a weekend in Disney.

"They were both REALLY nice and stuck around to dance for awhile after," DJ David Serrano said of Lovato and Jonas. The "Cool For The Summer" singer has kept busy heavily promoting her latest solo album and even posed nude and makeup free for a video interview with Vanity Fair, showing just how confident she really is.
