A month after the release of the first addition, Young Thug is prepping to drop Slime Season 2 in the near future. He shared the date on Instagram.

According to his social media post, fans can expect to hear SS2 in its entirety on Halloween. Thug first announced a follow-up to Slime Season just two weeks after its September release. The tape was originally slated to drop on July 4, the same day that Thug's idol turned competition Lil Wayne put out his Free Weezy Album.

Ironically, the tape opens with the previously released Weezy collab, "Take Kare." The song first made its way to the Internet last October. Since then, the two have shared an awkward public exchange. This summer, reports began to surface that Thug and Birdman conspired to kill Lil Wayne in a Bloods-related tour bus shooting.

Earlier this month, Thug dismissed any involvement in a murder plot and downplayed his beef with Wayne during an interview with the New York Times. “Both of us grew up the same thing, the same gang man — Y.M.C.M.B. Why should you ever in your life even feel like we against each other?”

SS also featured guest spots from Quavo, Offset, Gucci Mane and PeeWee Longway. No word on who to expect on the next project and it is still unclear when Thug will release his debut album, Hy!£UN35. Shortly after the release of SS, Atlantic Records revealed that the project and several on the supporting tour's stops had been pushed back. It was previously reported that the album would be released on Sept. 24.

Thug will, however, make his rounds in Europe next month. Check out his itinerary here and stay tuned for updates.
