Rudimental and Ed Sheeran have unveiled the music video for their We The Generation collaboration "Lay It All On Me."

The video is shot in a distorted black and white as the camera turns between various boxes with different people inside. It starts with the four members of Rudimental, DJ Locksmith, Amir Amor, Piers Agget and Kesi Dryden with teenage boys standing in front of them like they are getting ready to walk out onto a soccer field. Then it moves between various scenes with soldiers, dancers, Ed Sheeran and more with messages like "love," "brotherhood" and "expression" flashing across the screen.

"This video is a snapshot of our individual journeys through life. It's about creative expression, and how important love, friendship and family are to us. It was great to work with Ed in our first video appearance," said Rudimental about the video in a statement.

"Lay It All On Me" was released as the final single before the release of We The Generation on Oct. 2. It is the second track on the LP that features Ed Sheeran, following the drum n bass rendition of "Bloodstream" that was featured on the "Thinking Out Loud" singer's worldwide smash X.

Rudimental are known for their powerful music videos that tie in the message of the track with a visual component. This is the first time that the foursome have been featured in a video as actors.

Rudimental and Ed Sheeran will perform "Lay It All On Me" on Ellen Nov. 16.
